Terms and Conditions

The terms and conditions below constitute the agreement between the user of Mazeed (the Buyer) and ZID Company, the owner of the Mazeed platform.

Mazeed is an e-commerce platform that enables ZID merchants to display and sell products and allows customers to shop a wide variety of products, review, and rate their previous orders from ZID.

First: How to Use Mazeed

You are entitled to activate Mazeed and benefit from its services under the following terms:

  1. The information provided by the buyer for registration in the application and for completing orders must be accurate.
  2. By using the Mazeed application and placing orders, your previous orders and saved details from electronic stores on the ZID platform will be displayed.
  3. If you are already a user of the ZID platform, your previously registered personal data will appear in the application.
  4. Provide the correct address for product delivery.
  5. Rate previous orders and review the stores listed in Mazeed.

Second: Liability Limits

  1. Buyer's Liability:
    1. The buyer is responsible for communicating with the merchant and tracking the order from the date it is placed
    2. The buyer must adhere to the exchange and return policies of each store
  2. ZID Company's Liability:
    1. ZID Company is not liable for shipping, delivery, or ensuring the safety of products

Third: Financial Terms

  1. The buyer acknowledges and agrees to allow ZID Company to verify credit card information by transferring, sending, or receiving the card details or credit report data (including updated information) to or from the relevant entity to confirm the validity of the card information and obtain pre-authorization for purchases.
  2. The buyer agrees to ZID's use of their personal data for fraud prevention checks and to disclose this data to a credit reference or authorized entity for this purpose.
  3. All payment methods via credit cards are subject to validation checks and authorization by the card issuer. If the issuer refuses the transaction, ZID reserves the right to cancel the order or propose an alternative payment method with the buyer’s consent.
  4. The buyer agrees that the credit card information used for payment matches the entered details to complete the purchase.
  5. The buyer agrees to the direct deduction of the purchase amount from their credit card upon placing the order.
  6. The buyer confirms ownership of the payment card or that they have obtained permission from its owner for its use.
  7. ZID is responsible for safeguarding credit card information and will not sell or share it with third parties except for authorized payment gateways or as required by regulatory authorities in Saudi Arabia.

Fourth: Product Orders

ZID reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders for any reason, including but not limited to: The product not meeting ZID's quality control standards, rejection of payment by the bank, pricing errors or other reasons deemed appropriate by ZID.

Fifth: Return and Refund Policy

  1. Refund Processing:

    Mazeed ensures a smooth and transparent refund process. Refund duration depends on the payment method::

    • Mada Cards: Refunds are processed within 2-3 business days.
    • Credit Cards (Visa and MasterCard): Refunds may take up to 14 business days.
  2. Processing Time for Refund Requests:

    Refund requests are processed within 14 business days (excluding official Saudi holidays, including Fridays and Saturdays). Mazeed is committed to processing these requests promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.

    Important Note: For orders exceeding 30 days from the purchase date, refunds via Mada are processed through a bank transfer, which may take up to 20 business days.

  3. Alternative Refund Options:

    For faster refunds, customers can opt to receive the refunded amount as a discount code equivalent to the refund value. This code can be used for purchasing new products from Mazeed’s available stores.

Sixth: General Provisions

The buyer agrees to allow ZID Company to represent them before the Ministry of Commerce for complaints under the ministry's jurisdiction.

Seventh: Complaints and Suggestions

  • The buyer can raise a complaint by navigating to the (My Account) section and contacting via WhatsApp.
  • Suggestions can also be submitted through the (My Account) section and contacting via WhatsApp.

Eighth: Force Majeure

ZID is not responsible for losses or delays due to unforeseen circumstances, such as fires, natural disasters, banking system failures, power outages, telecommunication issues, wars, strikes, riots, terrorist attacks, merchant failures, or any other events beyond ZID's control.

Ninth: Account Deletion

The buyer may delete their account in Mazeed at any time by visiting their profile in the application and selecting the (Delete Account) option.

Tenth: Governing Language

These terms and conditions are written in both Arabic and English. In case of any discrepancy, the Arabic version shall prevail.

Eleventh: Modification and Termination of Terms

ZID reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time by displaying the updated version on the website or application. It is the buyer’s responsibility to review the updated terms.
